  • SWEDISH MASSAGE: A relaxing massage that reduces stress, increases circulation and promotes healing. Swedish massage uses techniques designed to remove toxins from muscles by applying slight pressure.
  • DEEP TISSUE: Focuses on deep layers of muscle tissue, releases chronic muscle tension and improves blood flow. It usually focuses on specific areas and may cause some soreness for 24-48 hours after the session.
  • MYOFASCIAL RELEASE: A mixture of gentle massage techniques that release tension in the fascial connective membranes that cover muscles, bones and internal organs. Myofascial release aims to restore balance throughout the entire body. Myofascial differs from a more manipulative massage approach in that it works with the layer of tissue on top of and in between muscle and bone. Excellent for migraines and TMJ and a whole host of other conditions.
  • LYMPH DRAINAGE: Increase lymphatic circulation to help detoxify the body. This session will cleanse and regenerate tissues and organs and promote balance of chemistry. Lymph Drainage helps to stimulate the lymphatic system by removing waste more rapidly and reduce or remove inflammatory processes. Helps with sinus congestion, digestion, post-surgical recovery processes and removal of anesthesia from the tissues, and overall energy. A wonderful, relaxing light touch massage that will leave you feeling more “spacious” within.
  • HANDS AND FEET MASSAGE: Close your eyes and experience the joy and tension release while sinking into the sensation of a full body massage through your hands, feet and head alone.
  • SHOULDERS, NECK AND HEAD MASSAGE: Many people seem to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. Are you one of them? If so, these places will benefit from some real attention while bringing new life and ‘breath’ to this particular area of your body.
  • PARASYMPATHETIC MASSAGE: A very slow, light, and quiet massage that stimulates the body’s parasympathetic nervous system. It is the perfect therapy for those who experience a high level of stress or for anyone seeking deep relaxation and peace of mind. This therapy not only promotes relaxation, but also eases muscle tension and increases circulation while stimulating your body’s natural ability to heal and rejuvenate.
  • CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY: A delicate, non-invasive method using the body’s natural rhythm to release stress and encourage its natural healing system. Especially beneficial for people who suffer from migraines or chronic pain patterns. This modality often induces a deep state of relaxation along with a profound connection with one’s own body.
  • PRE-NATAL MASSAGE: A nurturing, relaxing therapy catering to the specific needs of any expectant mother through out the many changes occurring during pregnancy. Low back and hip pain, chronic headaches, and the swelling of hands and feet are only some of the issues alleviated during this massage.
  • MASSAGE COMBINED WITH EFT TAPPING: Increase the potential for release of deeply held negative patterns that are no longer serving you. Tapping, or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a wonderful tool that combines ancient acupressure with modern day psychology. While tapping on the end-point energy meridian channels to release beliefs that have held you hostage or keep you stucK, you will be providing a deep shift to support the development of new neural pathways that are necessary to create profound healthy change and growth in any area of your life.
  • FULL BODY MASSAGE AND GUIDED MEDITATION: Not sure how to approach meditation? The Art of Massage invites you to enter into a state of deep calm while being gently and softly guided. These meditations are not part of any particular affiliation. They are intended to help facilitate your process of detaching from the outside world and stepping inside yourself to bring forth another level of relaxation.
  • HOT STONE MASSAGE: Smooth basalt river stones are heated and placed on specific points to increase muscle release and provide comfort and warmth. They are also used to massage the body and are integrated with Swedish and deep tissue techniques. A powerful, rejuvenating massage designed to increase circulation and range of motion as well as provide an overall sense of well being!
